Charlottetown Metal Products Limited (CMP) has over 50 years of experience as an international leader in the design, manufacture, and installation of custom stainless steel equipment and turn-key systems for the food processing industry. Located in a modern 30,000 square foot facility in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Canada, the CMP manufacturing plant is fully equipped for stainless steel fabrication.
CMP excels at custom design, layout, and manufacturing and working within the many confines of our customer’s existing plant layouts. Often faced with space constraints, our engineers and technologists are skilled in offering real world solutions to meet our customers processing needs.
CMP has a proven ability to execute projects competitively across Canada, the United States, and internationally. Our installation crews are specifically trained as specialists in installation of stainless steel equipment for the food processing industry. CMP prefers to install the custom equipment we manufacture and typically take full responsibility from design to commissioning of our equipment. CMP routinely installs equipment from other leading manufacturers as part of our installation scope while on site. CMP has a dedicated crew of ASME, CSA, and CWB certified stainless steel fabricators on our team.
As owner of a number of patents, CMP’s design team is capable of taking on complex R&D projects. Working with our clients, Provincial and Federal government agencies, research institutes, and processing cooperatives, CMP has continued to innovate and develop unique food processing solutions.
