CMP has been manufacturing processing solutions for the seafood industry for over 50 years.  We manufacture complete “turn-key” process lines for the Whelk processing industry.  CMP designed and patented a continuous flow high pressure steam processor that brings specific benefit to the Whelk industry.  The unique design allows for continuous product flow through the processor while maintaining constant pressure in the main chamber making it the most efficient high pressure steam processor on the market.  The design does not vent steam from the main chamber as product is introduced to the cooker leading to energy savings and water reduction of over 70%.  Specific benefits include increased throughput, reduced labour costs, improved processing efficiencies and significant improvement in our customer’s bottom line.  The payback for the entire system is 2 to 3 years depending on production rates. 

CMP also manufacture individual pieces of equipment from receiving hoppers, whelk sizers, three-stage whelk shuckers, meat separation drum and shakers, coolers, and final inspection tables.
