Quality Assurance Coordinator
Location: Milton, PEI

With a commitment to innovation and quality we are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Coordinator to uphold our standards of precision and reliability.
Responsibilities:
Ensure our internal quality systems, ASME, CWB are current and audit ready
Develop and maintain quality SOP (Do’s and Don’t) as per the requirements of the business
Conduct regular inspections and audits of materials (code material), processes, finished goods and equipment to identify defects or deviations from quality standards
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholder to resolve quality-related issues promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to manufacturing schedules
Train and mentor operations personnel, providing guidance on quality standards, testing methods, and reporting procedures
Analyze data and trends from our In Process Inspections to proactively identify areas for improvement in quality processes and product reliability
Communicate with suppliers and vendors regarding quality concerns and ensure corrective actions are implemented effectively
Perform PLE (Post Learning Event) job closure investigations
The Quality Assurance Supervisor will provide support to all internal and external customers to ensure customer satisfaction
Requirements:
Post secondary education within a manufacturing, technical discipline
Equivalent work experience in quality control / assurance; preferably within a manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of quality control standards and methodologies
Proficiency in quality inspection tools and techniques, statistical analysis, and quality management software
Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external stakeholders
Lean manufacturing background is an asset
Strong leadership qualities with a focus on coaching, team development, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement
Benefits:
$57,500 to $65,000 + per year plus benefits
